A Visit to Triple Tree Fly-In
Some images from the Fly-In at Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff, SC this past weekend. The weather was great!
On the Horizon…
It’s nothing special to look at yet, but I’m keeping on the Pitt’s product line with the Model 12. The two subject aircraft that I’m using for this project are the Beast, a single-seat version and Greg Connell’s two-seat version. Stay tuned for updates as this project rolls along…

New Sponsor Logos
In my efforts to finalize the paint for Prometheus, I’ve added the final sponsor logos to the wing supports.
You may wonder why Skip has MX Aircraft as a sponsor. They not only produce the MX2 and MXS aircraft, but they also produce carbon fiber enhancements for other aircraft, such as the S2S Pitts. Skip has a few carbon fiber components, most recently being the shovels on the ailerons (an update I had to make on this model versus the Real Flight version).

Plexi-glass enhancements
I’ve been working with Tim Taylor (the guy building the new IRIS Simulations F-15E Strike Eagle) on improving the overall look of the plexi-glass for the cockpit. It is still a work-in-progress, but I like the overall effect of swirl marks. Thanks Tim!!

Latest and Greatest Prometheus
Many thanks to Ten Minute Taxi for the mention! This aircraft will be the first in the new Airshow Series of aircraft at IRIS Simulations. It will feature high-definition 4096 x 4096 bitmaps for ultimate clarity of the sponsor logos! It is getting close to release with final work being done on gauges and sounds.
The next project in the series will be Bryan Jensen’s Beast. Stay tuned to the IRIS site for more information!
